Not much bass, but you expect that with USB powered speakers.
Too many wires - why they use a USB port for power AND a 3.5mm audio jack for audio is beyond me. By last Creative soundbar did everything through a single USB cable, but these have 4 wires (USB power, 3.5mm audio, a cable to the first pebble and another from it to the second pebble).

Great for what they are, but if (like me) you want speakers that are as portable as your laptop, these are useless. They are great as desk speakers once set up, but if you have a desk you can buy much better powered speakers for the same price. If you are moving around the cables will quickly irritate you. A lot!

An excellent purchase, very happy, the sound feels like it is coming from the monitor rather than the speakers, I too had the low humming/buzzing noise that another review found, just switched USB ports and it went away :)

The bass is good for the size of the speaker, the sound goes quite high, won't personally ever use it on max volume.

Really good clarity in the mid and upper ranges, these speakers don't pretend to have any low range power which allows for very clear upper range sound output. You'll hear detail you would have missed before. Got these to replace an old Logitech set and I wish I hadn't bothered - horrible buzzing noise when plugged in to a computer with USB, I've read it can be negated a bit by plugging it into an AC power source (but I got these specifically to avoid doing that with the old Logitech ones...) I was quite skeptical about these speakers because of the price but after using them I can say that they are really great for price! Defiently recommend if you PC doesn't have speakers and you need some ASAP!! They go loud enough that you can definitely enjoy your music or gaming without much distortion. Pack a punch for the size. Tried other speakers, these are my faves. Great Speakers for price, Nice looking ,easy to set, sound quality is as good as you would get from speakers this size without bass unit. still having enough bass to not make it sound tinny. I'd read very positive reviews about these speakers prior to purchase.
However, I was still surprised to find out how good they are!
At twice the price they would be considered great value.
